Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

When it comes to individual retirement planning, an individual retirement account (IRA) is still one of the best tools for accumulating and investing your savings. An IRA allows individuals to direct pre-tax income, up to specific annual limits, toward investments that can grow tax-deferred.

Roth IRAs are an alternative retirement savings vehicle to a traditional IRA. Contributions made to Roth IRAs are not tax deductible but, unlike the traditional IRA, eligible distributions made from Roth IRAs are tax-free. Sometimes it makes sense to convert your traditional IRA into a Roth IRA.

Progress Financial Services offers a variety of tax-advantaged IRAs to help you achieve your long-term retirement planning goals.

Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs)

A separately managed account is a portfolio of individual securities directly owned by the investor and managed on the behalf of the investor by a professional investment firm. Unlike with a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund, individuals directly own the securities instead of pooling the assets with other investors. SMAs follow a focused strategy within a specific asset class or investment style.

Unified Managed Accounts (UMAs)

UMA structure offers diversification within a single account. A Unified Managed Account might include a separate account manager model, individual securities, and/or one or more mutual funds or exchange-traded funds.
